PELHAM, N.Y. - While the weather looked bleak Wednesday, one Pelham resident certainly does not mind.
As long as it doesn't rain, I'm fine, said I.B. Ohlsson. It's even pleasant today temperature-wise. He was referring to the comfortable November temperature of 56 degrees. Ohlsson was walking his dog, Simone, around 10:30 this morning on Wolfs Lane. He was actually born in Copenhagen, but has lived in Pelham for the last 43 years.
According to the National Weather Service, Ohlsson will be disappointed. It started to rain at 11:30 a.m. and is expected to continue off and on during the day till 3 p.m. Thursday. Luckily, the temperature will remain around 46 degrees.
Thursday and Friday will both be pleasant, sunny days, but with low nighttime temperatures of 33 and 36 degrees, respectively. Saturday will start off sunny and turn to cloudy as the day progresses with a high of 56 degrees and a low of 43.
While it will be mostly cloudy on Sunday, Mr. Ohlsson will be happy, because of the refreshing 62-degree temperature and no rain in sight.
