Flood Advisory in Pelham As Rain Drenches Area

PELHAM, N.Y. – Heavy rain and thunderstorms arrived in Pelham on Tuesday. The National Weather Service has issued a flood advisory for Westchester County until 6:00 p.m.

The National Weather Service has predicted showers and thunderstorms, some of which could produce strong winds, for the remainder of Tuesday with an 80 percent chance of precipitation at night. Rainfall amounts could reach half to three quarters of an inch by Tuesday night.

The rain will stop by Wednesday and sunny skies will return for the rest of the week, according to the National Weather Service. More rain could arrive on Saturday night.
