Pelham Memorial Hockey Team Takes State Title

PELHAM, N.Y. -- Pelham Memorial High School's boys hockey team secured its first-ever New York State Division 2 title on Sunday.

The Pelicans, powered by Stefan Miklakos' hat trick, trounced St. Lawrence 7-1 at the Harbor Center in Buffalo to secure the title. 

Pelham defeated Brockport in the Saturday semifinals 6-0 to advance to the championship game. 

The Pelicans finished the year with a 25-1 record.
