Pelham Boys Soccer Wins First State Playoff Game

PELHAM, N.Y. -- The Pelham boys soccer team defeated Section 4 champion Vestal 2-0 in the Class A regional semifinal on Wednesday, according to LoHud.com.

The Pelicans were able to score in the 35th minute and the 60th minute to secure their 12th consecutive win. The 2-0 shutout was also goalie Vincent Mazzaro's fourth straight clean sheet, LoHud.com reported.

Pelham will travel to Dutchess County to face Section 9 champ Goshen at Arlington High School on Saturday, according to LoHud.com.
