PELHAM, N.Y. Pelham residents can attend their first public Board of Education meeting of the school year at 8 p.m. Wednesday in Alumni Hall of Pelham High School, the district said.
The room is on the first floor of the school across from the gym.
The board is scheduled to accept new employees to the school district and consider other items.
The board will be in executive session in the Superintendents Conference Room at 7:15 p.m. prior to the public session.
The board also is scheduled to meet Sept. 10 in Alumni Hall.
This summer, the board started work to choose a new superintendent when Dennis Lauro retires Dec. 31, and temporary Superintendent Charles Wilson finishes his time.
