NEW YORK -- It took practice, practice, practice, but the Pelham Memorial High School Chamber Chorus finally made it to Carnegie Hall.
According to a post on the school district's Facebook page , the choral group under the direction of Maria Abeshouse sang the Mozart "Requiem" at the famed classical music hall on Monday, June 13, as part of the Masterworks Festival Chorus.
Along with the Chamber Chorus and Abeshouse, staff members Pamela Brinkman, Irene Gruber and Megan Rice attended the event, according to the post.
Located in mid-town Manhattan, Carnegie Hall is a world-renowned concert venue that first opened in 1891.
