Pelham HS Forensics Speech Wins Trophy At Tournament

PELHAM, N.Y. -- The Pelham Memorial High School Forensics Speech Team had its best finish ever winning a seventh place sweepstakes trophy at the New York City Grand Qualifier Tournament.

Senior Sabrina Maggiore placed second in oral interpretation and will represent New York City at the National Championships in California in May. 

Other honors include junior Veronica Stern, oral interpretation; senior Sam Cardwell, congressional debate; freshman Athena Woodfin, dramatic performance; junior Alexandria Tiso, original oratory; sophomore Nick Wessman and freshman Maggie Solimine, duo interpretation.
