PELHAM, N.Y. -- The Pelham Memorial High School Chorus performed Mozart's "Requiem" at Carnegie Hall last week.
"After many months of practice, practice, practice, the students were rewarded for their hard work," said director Maria Abeshouse. "I am bursting with pride for what our students have accomplished this year and it was my pleasure to accompany them on this incredibly memorable occasion."
Abeshouse accompanied the students to New York City for the performance, along with staff members Pamela Brinkman, Irene Gruber and Megan Rice.
The performance was part of the Masterworks Festival Chorus.
