Pelham Forensic Speech Team Finishes 9th At NYC Grand Championships

PELHAM, N.Y. -- The Pelham Memorial High School Forensics Speech Team won ninth place Saturday, March 7 at the New York City Grand Championships at Stuyvesant High School in Manhattan.

Ellie Livingstone won and was named the New York City Champion of Oral Interpretation of Literature. Livingstone will now represent the New York City region at the Grand National Championships in Florida during Memorial Day Weekend. Livingstone is the second New York City champion Pelham has produced in the past three years.

Student Veronica Stern won fifth place and her qualification for New York State Championships in JV Oral Interpretation.

Student Alexandria Tiso was a semi-finalist in Declamation.
