PELHAM, N.Y. -- A presentation made by Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum Steven M. Garcia at a Pelham Board of Education meeting on Monday, Oct. 7 outlined the benchmarks the district is watching for future success in Pelham elementary schools.

The wide-ranging presentation covered state testing scores, shifts in English/Language Arts and literacy, improvements in teaching math and the change to the Common Core.

The presentation also went in depth into how each elementary school in Pelham is ensuring the success of its students.
