PELHAM, N.Y. -- At the Pelham Board of Education meeting on Tuesday, July 12, the board elected new leadership.
The new trustees sworn in were Christa Acampora and Peter Liaskos. Incumbent Tom Imperato has served on the board since 2013. Each of these board members' terms expire in June 2019.
In addition to the newly elected trustees, Superintendent Peter Giarrizzo and Assistant Superintendents Steven Garcia, Rosemary Matthews and Angelo Rubbo also took the oath for another year of service.
Marianne Gilland and Madeline Smith will serve as president and vice president, respectively. Gilland previously served as vice president and has been a member of the board since 2011. Smith has served on the board since 2012.
