Friday, Oct. 12

Farmers' Market: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Fresh produce and local goods will be available along Cedar Street, Dobbs Ferry.

Saturday, Oct. 13

Farmers' Market: 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Fresh produce and local goods will be available at the Municipal Building parking lot, Hastings.

Garage Sale:  9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Ardsley hosts a village-wide garage sale at Pascone Park. Ashford Avenue, Ardsley.

Homecoming: 1:30-4 p.m. Ardsley High School hosts a homecoming football game. 300 Farm Road, Ardsley.

Help The Hungry:  4 p.m. Hastings Helps The Hungry and The Sharing Community hosts a benefit concert at The First Reformed Church featuring three-time Grammy-award winning bassist John Patitucci and others. 24 Farragut Ave., Hastings

Roaring ‘20s:  6 p.m. The Dobbs Ferry Historical Society hosts a fundraiser featuring a 1920s theme at the Woman’s Club. There will be history, food, drinks and a look into the lives of Fanny and Henry Villard, famous Dobbs Ferry residents. Live Music: 7:30 p.m. The Upstream Gallery presents The Thornwood Boys performing folk originals and American classics. Original art and prints also will be available for sale. 26B Main St., Dobbs Ferry.

Sunday, Oct. 14

Writing Books: 10:15 a.m. to noon. Douglas Florian, a modern Jewish children’s poet/illustrator hosts a session about the creative process of writing a book at the Greenburgh Hebrew Center. 515 Broadway, Dobbs Ferry.

Ardsley Day:  Noon to 5 p.m. The annual Ardsley Day festival celebrates fall with an apple pie contest, live music and other activities in downtown Ardsley.
