PELHAM, N.Y. A garbage truck from AAA Carting, which was too large for a Pelham resident's narrow driveway, damaged his cement curb while picking up his garbage at 7:37 a.m. Monday, police said.
The resident told police he had spoken to the village and AAA Carting about garbage trucks not fitting down the driveway for pickup.

A Sparks Avenue woman hit her head on a marble table at 3:01 p.m. Tuesday and was feeling dizzy and started vomiting, a police report said. The Pelham Police Department, Pelham Fire Department, paramedics and an ambulance were dispatched. She was transported to Sound Shore Medical Center by ambulance.
After an accident on Lincoln Avenue in New Rochelle at 6:44 a.m. Tuesday, New Rochelle police alerted Pelham police that a vehicle involved was heading into Pelham. Pelham units were advised to look out for a 2005 Mercury Mountaineer. Officers canvassed the area but did not find the SUV.
