PELHAM, N.Y.-- A Pelham man was killed Sunday afternoon while riding a motorized scooter on Highland Avenue in Eastchester, LoHud.com reported.

James Burns, 59, of 122 Pelhamdale Ave. was taken to Sound Shore Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, according to LoHud.com.

No other vehicles were involved in the accident, according to LoHud.com.
