Drive Launched To Support Family After Death Of 20-Year-Old In Westchester

A fundraising effort has been launched to help assist a family with funeral expenses after the loss of a 20-year-old man in Northern Westchester.

John Casterella of North Salem died suddenly at home on Thursday, Dec. 6.

A GoFundMe page has a goal of raising $5,000.

John was born on Jan. 16, 1998 to his parents, the late Robert Casterella, and Tina Curra In addition to his mother, he is survived by twin Anthony, another brother, Nicholas, sister Dana, sister-in-law Stephanie, brother-in-law Chris, half-brother of Marie and Robbie, aunt Tina, uncle John aunt Linda, nephew Noah, niece Davina, cousins Samantha and Harry and their children.

John loved Fishing and family. He and his twin brother were inseparable. He liked to cook and make people laugh.

Family and friends are invited to Cassidy-Flynn Funeral Home Inc. 288 East Main St. in Mount Kisco on Saturday, Dec. 15 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
