Village of Pelham: All Roads Are Clear And Open

PELHAM, N.Y. – All Village of Pelham roads are cleared and open for use, village officials announced Monday afternoon.

Village officials were also working closely with Con Edison to receive updates and facilitate access to power lines as additional crews work to restore power.

Although the Chester Park area was restored Monday morning, individual homes may not have power because of other problems, village officials said.

Traffic lights at First Street and Wolfs Lane (both sides of the train tracks) were still without power, town officials said.

Town officials urged drivers to use caution in this area. Traffic lights on Fifth Avenue at Seventh Street and Willow Avenue were now working.

Residents can call the police department at 914-738-2000 to report any emergency conditions. Nonemergency matters can be addressed by calling Village Hall at 914-738-2015 or by email at info@pelhamgov.com.

Residents can use the Daronco Townhouse for shelter and for charging electronics, 24 hours a day. The Townhouse will also be used as a polling location for all precincts in the village for Tuesday's election from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Pelham firefighters and the Westchester County Health Department said residents should use caution when handling candles, other open flames, generators, stoves, space heaters and chainsaws.
