PELHAM, N.Y. Construction continued Thursday to replace the wooden railroad ties on the tracks at the Pelham Metro-North train station.
Workers from the MTA had no equipment on a large portion of the track near the platform but continued to work on a section south of where passengers wait for the train.
Crew members started the project Wednesday and said they expected to finish the work by Thursday. The construction did not impede the flow of trains through the station.
