PELHAM, N.Y. A woman called Pelham police headquarters early Monday morning to report that her boyfriend, whom she thought was missing, had returned home.
The woman called police at approximately 1:45 a.m. to report that her boyfriend had not returned home from the New York Giants football game in East Rutherford, New Jersey. She said he went to the afternoon game with some associates from work and never came home, according to the police report.
She had last spoken with him at approximately 7:30 p.m. and he told her he would return home shortly after the game ended. She tried unsuccessfully to contact him several times and several phone calls to him went unanswered.
The woman told police that not returning calls was out of character for him.
Police spoke to the woman and determined that there was no history of note or any indication to suspect foul play. They told her to call headquarters in the morning if he had not returned home by then.
Police at headquarters said early Monday afternoon that the woman called shortly after 7 a.m. to inform police that her boyfriend had come home during the night.
