Pelham PD: Woman Falls, Police Call For Ambulance

PELHAM, N.Y. – Police responded to a report that a woman fell on the ground on Wednesday at 9:02 p.m. They responded to Clifford Avenue and they saw the woman lying on the floor and conscious. Two police officers lifted her into a chair and she was later transported to Sound Shore Medical Center by ambulance.

Also on the blotter:

- A Third Avenue resident called the Pelham Police Department because she thought two men were smoking marijuana in their driveway on Jan. 7 at 11:40 p.m. Once units were on scene, they investigated the matter, and concluded that the two men were only smoking cigarettes. No crime was being committed.

- Pelham police responded to a call for a domestic dispute on Fourth Avenue this past Monday at 5:05 p.m. by one of the people involved. When police arrived at the house, they spoke to the two involved in the verbal argument. They stated that the fight started because of  a disagreement about chores and cleaning the house. One of the women said that she did kick several objects in the house and broke a vase in her mother’s room. No physical contact was made and one of the parties asked for the incident to be documented.

-A person driving by Fifth Avenue noticed a man possibly sleeping in a White Blazer on Saturday at 5:55 a.m. and called police to alert them of the matter. An officer came by and found that the man was the superintendent of the building and he was waiting for a repairman to arrive and fix a balky boiler.
