Pelham Man Discovers Drugs on His Front Steps

PELHAM, N.Y. – A man on Seventh Avenue told the Pelham Police Department earlier this week that he discovered drug paraphernalia on his front steps one morning.

The man told police that he has seen the drugs on multiple occasions, and the problem has occurred almost daily for three weeks. Neighbors have seen three African-American males across the street from the man's house almost every night, according to the police report.

The incident occurred between 11:00 p.m. on Wednesday and 2:00 a.m. on Thursday. Police told the man to call the station the next time he sees drugs on his steps. Police sent out patrol cars and midnight tours to the area.

Williams of 801 Bronx River Road in Bronxville at the request of the NYPD. Police performed the traffic stop and ran a DMV check, which revealed the warrant.
