Man Harassed by Telemarketers Calls Police

PELHAM MANOR, N.Y. – A man contacted Pelham Manor police on Tuesday morning after he receiving several harassing phone calls throughout the week.

The man told police that he has received dozens of unsolicited phone calls from telemarketers each day for approximately a week, according to the police report. He said the callers claimed they contacted him because of an online request he made for information about their businesses. The man told police that he never made such a request.

Also on the blotter:

- An employee of Dress Barn on Pelham Parkway called Pelham Manor police just after midnight Tuesday to tell them about a flooding condition in the store. Police investigated and determined that a pipe possibly broke under the foundation of the building. Officials turned off the main water.
