Mamaroneck Joins Roadwork Agreement With Pelham

MAMARONECK, N.Y. – The Town of Mamaroneck has entered into a joint agreement with six local municipalities for road resurfacing in 2013, resulting in $64,000 in savings for the town, according to officials.

The City of New Rochelle will act as lead agency with the participating villages of Pelham, Pelham Manor, Mamaroneck, Larchmont and the Town of Mamaroneck.

The Town of Mamaroneck will spend $565,000 on road resurfacing and other related work – with $382,000 set for paving and $120,000 for new sidewalks and curbs on four streets, town officials said.  The $64,000 savings will reportedly be put toward resurfacing side roads off Myrtle Boulevard.
