PELHAM. N.Y. - Two Pelham runners crossed the finish line in the Boston Marathon on Monday before two explosions ended the race.
According to the Boston Marathon results website, Jennifer Williams completed the race in 3:39.44 and Jennifer Darnell had a time of 3:37.19, finishing about a half-hour before the explosions occurred.
Three people, including an 8-year-old boy, were killed, and nearly 150 others were reported injured in the blasts.
Two other Pelham runners, Kristen Bowes Burke and Maria Lauretani were entered in the race but did not appear in the finishing results. Hundreds of runners were detoured off the course after the bombs went off and did not finish.
