Swimmers, ranging from young children to senior citizens, participated in eight pool swims and one open-water swim in Westchester and Rockland counties.

Pool swims were held at  the Coveleigh Club in Rye, Westchester Country Club in Harrison, Chappaqua Swim & Tennis Club in Chappaqua, The New York Athletic Club in Pelham, Orienta Beach Club in Mamaroneck, Lakeside Field Club in North Salem, Lake Isle Country Club in Eastchester, and Germonds Pool in Clarkstown (Rockland County).

The open-water swim in the Long Island Sound was held at Larchmont Yacht Club.

“Our chapter has been holding these events for 21 years, and I am still awed by the outpouring of support from our participants, sponsors, volunteers, and donors,”  chapter President Tony Sibio said. “Many of those involved participate year after year in memory or in honor of loved ones who have battled cancer. Their dedication to finding cures and more effective treatments for cancer is truly inspiring.”
