Pelham Group Celebrates Charitable Antique Store

PELHAM, N.Y. – The Pelham Chapter of the Friends of Sound Shore Medical Center is hosting a celebration for the 18th anniversary of Accents on Antiques -- an upscale shop that helps support hospital services.

The  proceeds from the sale of donated, consigned and dealer merchandise have helped Sound Shore Medical Center’s neonatal nursery, Solomon Katz Breast Center, Gladys and Murray Goldstein Cancer Center and Helen and Michael Schaffer Extended Care Center, according to the hospital.

The anniversary event will feature a live auction and dealer discounts. It will be held Thursday, April 18 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the shop, located at 125 Wolfs Lane in Pelham.

Accents on Antiques is staffed by 60 volunteers and features 13 antique dealers. It is a  4,800 square foot retail space offering estate furniture, china, crystal, silver and jewelry as well as decorative accessories and collectibles.
