Bollettieri, who was born in Pelham and graduated from Pelham Memorial High School, turns 85 today.
The tennis coach has worked with many top players, such as Serena and Venus Williams, Monica Seles, Andre Agassi, Jim Courier and more.
The New York College of Health Professions honored Bollettieri with an honorary doctorate in Humane Letters in 2008.
Bollettieri was inducted in the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 2014.
