"Truth" stars Robert Redford as Dan Rather and Cate Blanchett as Mary Mapes and follows the Killian documents scandal.
The 2004 scandal involved six alleged documents critical of U.S. President George W. Bush's service in the Air National Guard. Four of the documents were presented as authentic in a "60 Minutes" broadcast by Rather in September 2004, but it was later discovered CBS failed to authenticate the documents, which experts later concluded were forgeries.
A discussion with director James Vanderbilt and producer Brad Fischer will follow the screening.
