“Breast and ovarian cancer continue to deeply impact people in the Westchester County and southern Fairfield County communities,” said Paul Viggiano, director of business administration and marketing at A.G. Williams, in the release.
“A.G. Williams wants to do its part to help fight these diseases by strengthening our relationship with Support Connection so that they can continue to provide emotional, social and educational support services to women, their families and friends,” Viggiano said.
The Old Greenwich-based company, with a store on Fifth Avenue in Pelham, raised the money during the Paint it Teal fundraiser in September in honor of National Ovarian Cancer Month, and Paint it Pink from October through December in honor of breast cancer awareness, the release said. “We appreciate the efforts of A.G. Williams to support our efforts in providing critical free and confidential counseling and support services to people impacted by breast and ovarian cancer,” said Katherine Quinn, executive director of Support Connection, in the release.
