Looking to live a more herbal life?
Found Herbal Apothecary , in Bronxville, may be your remedy. The new shop -- it opened October 20th -- is all about offering customers products they can trust along the tools to help them live a healtheir life.
That includes supporting wellness through natural remedies and safe, quality herbal products.
"All of our products are handcrafted in small batches using the highest quality ingredients and certified organic or ethically wildcrafted herbs," explained Owner Jessica Mullins.
"They are also natural, safe, and produced without chemicals, parabens, phthalates, preservatives, synthetic fragrance or artificial ingredients."
The Bronxville resident says folks use her boutique for two things: To access herbal remedies and programs specifically designed for them as well as featuring products that customers can come in, browse for, and select.
Mullins said her store offers herbal remedies traditionally used to address health concerns or ailments like eczema, colds, flu, or trouble sleeping. She also offers custom product formulation and private consultations for people who have specific needs.
There are also plenty of candles and aromatherapy gift items.
Because Mulllins has a clinical herbalist background, she knows which herbs to use and how to use them. So when asked by this Daily Voice reporter, she replies that yes, the headache oil she sells actually works.
"I infuse specific herbs into the oils to be used topically for headaches, which makes it a very effective product for pain of all kinds," she explained.
Another popular, very effective item: The hangover tea, though, she said you don't need a hangover to enjoy its benefits.
"The anti-oxidant rich blend is designed to help relieve nausea, support the liver and detox pathways, elevate mood and promote energy," said Mullins.
"All my products are thoughtfully formulated and designed to be safe and very effective."
