Motorists out and about Monday were confronted with icy conditions in some spots, particularly farther north and on secondary roads.

The northbound Saw Mill River Parkway was closed at Route 117 (Exit 39) in Mount Kisco after a 9:30 a.m. crash in which one vehicle hit the guardrail.

A multi-vehicle crash with debris, reported just before 9 a.m., led to delays on the northbound Taconic State Parkway at Peekskill Hollow Road in Putnam Valley.

A stretch of Route 22 in Croton Falls was closed in both directions following a crash and fuel spill reported around 9 a.m. The closure was between Maple Avenue and East Cross Street with the roadway reopening by 10 a.m.

An earlier car fire had blocked the right lane on northbound I-95 at Arch Street (Exit 3) with traffic backed up to Delavan Avenue (Exit 2) near the Port Chester/Greenwich border.
