Shea Hat Trick Highlights Pelham 10-1 Win

MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. -- Danny Shea registered a hat trick and Hogan Peters scored twice as Pelham defeated visiting White Plains 10-1 in a Section 1 hockey game at the Ice Hutch. The Pelicans improved to 8-4 before going on the road Friday and Saturday against New Hartford and Rome Free Academy, respectively. Pelham will have mid-term week off then return to action on Saturday, Jan. 28 at 8:15 p.m. against Mamaroneck. Defenseman Will Cullen netted a goal and had four assists, Colin Reilly finished with a goal and two assists and Andrew Schauer collected a goal and an assist. In Pelham’s last two wins against Section 1 opponents, it has scored 22 goals. John Sullivan spoiled the shut-out bid of Pelham goalie Josh Borofsky with 48 seconds remaining in the game.
