Pelham Junior High School Rugby Beats Union

The Pelham seventh- and eighth-grade rugby team showed defending New Jersey state champion Union what a difference a year makes. Pelham, which lost to Union last year, rebounded to score a 20-15 victory. Last year, Union defeated Pelham, 40-0. Pelham raced out to a 10-0 lead and the defense, led by Dan Biskup, Matt Biskup and North Westall, played a solid game. Also turning in key defensive plays were Kees Huisman and Matt Rabinowitz. The sixth- and seventh-grade team lost to Lycee Francais.
