Pelham Students Earn School Honors, Degrees

PELHAM, N.Y. - Students from Pelham have earned honors, awards and degrres at colleges and universities:

  • Joseph Bassell of Pelham recently graduated with a bachelor of arts from the University at Albany.
  • Romy Kushnick and Lara Rifkin earned term honors at Skidmore College. Term honors are awarded for a quality point ratio of 3.650 from a possible 4.0, for students who have completed 14 credit hours.
  • Elizabeth Penberthy, Madeline Donovan and Clara Kim were recipients of the Dean's Award for academic excellence at Colgate University.
  • Jasmin Davis was named to the University at Albany's spring 2013 Dean's List for outstanding academic achievement.
  • Chaula Shukla graduated from Albany Law School at the school's 162nd Commencement.
