PELHAM, N.Y. -- The Pelham Picture House will hold a series of classes to teach student filmmakers some of the finer points of the trade.

The classes will take place on Wednesday nights from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Picture House, beginning on Oct. 2 and run for 15 weeks.

Students will be immersed in the inner workings of film production as they move through the cycle of writing, casting, directing and producing their original short feature.

There is no charge for the workshops. Pelham High School students who are interested need to see Mr. Powers for an application.

The Pelham Picture House is at 175 Wolfs Lane.
