Pelham School Board to Hold Two Executive Sessions

PELHAM, N.Y. – The Pelham Board of Education will be holding executive session meetings Monday, June 11, and Tuesday, June 12, “to discuss matters leading to the appointment and eventual employment of a particular person and/or corporation,” according to a post on the Pelham schools website.

Choosing a firm to handle the search for superintendent Dennis Lauro's replacement was discussed at the school board's June 4 meeting. Board president Robert Eicher said he would like to have a firm in place by July 1.

After meeting Friday morning in executive session, the board narrowed the list of firms from eight to three.

The regular Board of Education meeting scheduled for Monday, June 18, has been rescheduled to Tuesday, June 19, with the public portion beginning at 8 p.m.
