PELHAM, N.Y. -- The original event may have happened before most of them were even born, but Pelham Memorial High School students still paused Sunday to remember those lost on Sept. 11, 2001.
Led by Maria Abeshouse, the high school's Chamber and Concert choruses performed for the community at a candlelight vigil and 9/11 commemoration ceremony on Sunday, according to school officials.
Grateful for the students' efforts to mark the 15th anniversary of the attacks, the Pelham school district posted a group photograph to Facebook on Tuesday .
