Led by school Principal Jeannine Clark, the commencement honored the achievements of the class of 2016.

Among those students to speak at the June 25 commencement were Matthew O'Neil and Sabrina Maggiore. Both were selected by faculty and staff to deliver their respective speeches, "Liberating, Exciting and Strange," and "Azucar," according to a statement from the school district.

Senior class President Justin Johnson also addressed the students while delivering his speech, "More Than Just a Drill."

"Pelham has been preparing us all this time with the tools to take what we have learned and figure out how to apply them to the real world," Johnson said in his speech, later adding, "I know that every single person on this stage today is more than prepared to take the world by storm."
