PELHAM, N.Y. -- The Board of Education is seeking to fill the seat of retiring board member, Peggy O'Leary, and the appointee will serve until the next election on May 19, 2015.

Because the term of two other board members also expire at the end of this school year, according to statute, the top two candidates will serve three-year terms and the top third candidate will complete the unexpired term for Peggy O’Leary, which ends in 2016.

Interested candidates are asked to fill in and return the form to District  Clerk Stephanie Pollock, by email (spollock@pelhamschools.org) or by mail or in person to Pelham Schools District Clerk, 18 Franklin Place, Pelham 10803.

Applications must be received by Wednesday, Sept. 24, at 5 p.m.

The Board will conduct interviews of prospective candidates on Tuesday, Oct. 1 at a time to be determined. Interested candidates may contact Board of Education President Lisa Kiernan with questions at lkiernan@pelhamschools.org.
