PELHAM, N.Y. – The Pelham Public School District's Board of Education is set to meet on the second floor of Pelham Middle School on Tuesday when members are expected to hold the board’s annual organizational meeting.
The meeting, scheduled for 6 p.m., is likely to begin with the board entering an executive session at the 28 Franklin Place middle school, according to a statement from the district.
The organizational meeting is set to take place when the public session of the meeting begins later in the evening.
The agenda is also to include the taking of oaths by Christa Acampora, Tom Imperato and Peter Liaskos, who are to begin new terms on the board in the coming school year, according to the district, which noted that the board is also likely to elect its officers for the 2016-2017 year.
A regular meeting is to immediately follow the organizational business, according to the district.
The agenda for the regular meeting is to include a number of other points of business, including a hearing on the safety Plan A discussion regarding the reconfiguration of the parking at Pelham Memorial High School.
Steven Giarrizzo, the district’s superintendent of schools, is also to issue his annual report, according to the district.
