Pace Announces Student Athletic Advisory Committee Executive Board

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. -- The Pace University Athletics Department has announced the Student Athletic Advisory Committee Executive Board for the 2014-15 school year.

The executive board will be tasked with piloting community service activities with local partners throughout the school year.

In addition, the group will be tasked with managing campus relations such as running the annual SAAC Bingo tournament, driving student-athlete participation at campus-wide and student group events as well as raising money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

SAAC also will pilot the fourth year of the "Pace Goes Pink" breast cancer fundraiser to benefit Northern Westchester Hospital's Breast Institute.

The SAAC Executive Board is made up of 12 student-athletes who apply at the end of the previous academic year and are selected by a committee of athletics administrators. The SAAC advisor for the 2014-15 school year will be Kayne Gutierrez, assistant athletics director for compliance. The 2014-15 Student Athletic Advisory Committee Executive Board is:

Sara DiGiovanna, vice president/service, cross country

Kaitlyn Siriano, vice president/service, swimming and diving

Alexis Chocianowski, vice president/campus relations, swimming and diving

Dylan Mouzakes, vice president/campus relations, baseball

Sara Anastasi, campus relations manager, volleyball

Brandon Donnellan, campus relations manager, men's lacrosse

Travis Coleman, campus relations manager, football

Ryan Mihalkovitz, campus relations manager, baseball

Alyssa Zeoli, community service manager, women's soccer

Ashley Kenny, campus relations manager, women's soccer

Nicole Larm, community service manager, softball
