PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. -- The Pace University Athletics Department has announced the Student Athletic Advisory Committee Executive Board for the 2014-15 school year.
The executive board will be tasked with piloting community service activities with local partners throughout the school year.
In addition, the group will be tasked with managing campus relations such as running the annual SAAC Bingo tournament, driving student-athlete participation at campus-wide and student group events as well as raising money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
SAAC also will pilot the fourth year of the "Pace Goes Pink" breast cancer fundraiser to benefit Northern Westchester Hospital's Breast Institute.
The SAAC Executive Board is made up of 12 student-athletes who apply at the end of the previous academic year and are selected by a committee of athletics administrators. The SAAC advisor for the 2014-15 school year will be Kayne Gutierrez, assistant athletics director for compliance.
