PELHAM, N.Y. Jacqueline Miller's son is in fourth grade at Hutchinson Elementary School and she said shes had an excellent relationship with his teachers throughout his time there.
Miller's son, Connor, receives special needs instruction at the school. The Pelham resident said that the school has welcomed her inquiries and phone calls.
"I've been very fortunate in that every year since my son's been here, I've had very good access to the teachers," Miller said.
Miller said she hasnt had any problems reaching her son's teachers, even with the frequency with which she contacts them to check in on how her son is doing in class.
"I'm pretty much on the phone with them at least once a week," Miller said.
Miller has not yet met Connor's teacher this year because she missed the open house held last week due to a schedule conflict. She plans to arrange a time to meet with the teacher soon.
