A total of 49 candidates are running for the 25 seats, half on the caucus-endorsed slate and half running in opposition, according to the News-Times.
The local GOP fractured after an unhappy caucus in January with some party members unhappy with the results of the local elections in November, the News-Times said,
Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. March 1 at Huckleberry Hill School and Brookfield High School.
