Letter: 4 Pelham Residents Endorse Justice John Gardner

PELHAM, N.Y. – The Pelham Daily Voice accepts original, signed letters to the editor. Letters may be emailed to jstock@dailyvoice.com.

To the Editor:

As members of different political parties, it is our mutual pleasure to support Justice John Gardner in the upcoming Pelham town election. We are in agreement that Justice Gardner is an outstanding candidate and that the Pelham community will greatly benefit from his experience and judicial temperament.

As a Westchester Assistant District Attorney for many years, John is fully familiar with our courts and how they operate.

He spent time assigned to the local courts (like Pelham), before moving to prosecute more serious, felony matters in White Plains.  He currently maintains a law practice in Rye, specializing in real estate, civil litigation and trusts and estates for numerous, long-standing clients.

John is very active in our community, as a parent, friend and coach of various baseball, basketball and soccer teams. Many Pelham children, including our own, have benefited from his calm demeanor, thoughtful encouragement and instructional coaching style.

We believe John's legal experience, compassion and ability to be independent eminently qualify him to continue in the position of Town Justice.

We hope you will join us in casting your vote for Justice John Gardner in the election on Tuesday, Nov. 6.

Sincerely,

Gary and Joan Friedman, and Tom and Christine Spana
