Trump, the Republican presidential nominee, is set to go toe-to-toe with the Democratic candidate at Hofstra University in Hempstead on Monday, Sept. 26.

Sources connected to Trump’s campaign machine have hinted at an even bigger role for Ailes, but it was not known when he started helping out, how much time he’s putting in, or even if he will be paid for his efforts, The New York Times reported.

Ailes’ lawyer did not respond to email or calls from the Times and Trump’s spokeswoman, Hope Hicks, categorically denied that the media mogul is giving political advice to the billionaire businessman, the newspaper said.

Trump, who has an estate in Bedford, also owns Trump National Golf Club Hudson Valley in Stormville and Trump National Westchester in Briarcliff Manor. The Trump name also adorns Trump Tower At City Center in White Plains, Trump Plaza in New Rochelle, Trump Park Residences in Yorktown and the Donald J. Trump State Park on the Westchester/Putnam border.

Clinton has lived in Chappaqua since 1999.
