Cuomo Lifts Ban On Non-Essential Travel To Indiana

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Gov. Andrew Cuomo has lifted the ban on nonessential travel by state employees to Indiana, four days after enacting it, according to multiple reports.

Cuomo made the change while on vacation in the Caribbean, according to the Albany Times Union, saying in a statement that he believed "the changes enacted by the Indiana Executive and Legislature should prevent the Religious Freedom Restoration Act from being used to discriminate against gay, lesbian, bi-sexual and transgender citizens and travelers."
