Police are reportedly calling the attack "completely random" and can find no connection between Felice and Officer Brendan Cronin of Yonkers who allegedly shot him with his NYPD-issued Glock 9mm.

As previously reported , Felice was shot six times in the torso, arm and hand while riding as a passenger in a car on his way to his home in New Rochelle.

Cronin, 27, allegedly opened fire, unprovoked, on the car when it came to a stop at a traffic light at Lincoln and Sixth Avenue about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Police and Internal Affairs are trying to determine if alcohol was involved in the incident. Cronin refused to take a breath test, according to police.

Cronin faces first-degree assault charges.
