On Monday, Yonkers Police announced that, following a joint-investigation with the FBI, suspects Travis Jackson, 63, and Patrick Linen, 48, had been arrested in connection to a bank heist and armed robbery that took place earlier this month.

According to police, the department had been working closely with the FBI and U.S. Attorney’s Office since Citizens Bank on Central Park Avenue was robbed on June 8.

“Federal investigators and members of the Yonkers Police Department Detective Division subsequently developed information on two suspects in relation to (that) robbery and an additional armed robbery, which occurred on June 5 on South Broadway,” Yonkers Det. Lt. Patrick McCormack said in a statement when announcing the arrests.

On June 17, the two suspects - who both hail from Yonkers - were charged with numerous offenses in federal court in relation to both armed robberies. Those charges are currently pending. Yonkers police have deferred comment to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
