The New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services issued an alert on Tuesday to Westchester County residents regarding the residency of 55-year-old Gregory Hill, who has moved to an apartment on Cooley Place in Mount Vernon.
The Division of Criminal Justice Services has assigned Hill a Level 3 threat, which means he is a “high-risk repeat offender and possible threat to public safety.”
According to the Division of Criminal Justice Services, Hill was found to be in possession and promoting obscene sexual performance by a child less than 17. He was arrested by the Westchester County District Attorney's Office in October 2015 and sentenced to 10 years probation and time served in jail in February last year. He was also fined $1,425. He is now under the jurisdiction of the Mount Vernon City Police Department.
Hill is currently being supervised by the Westchester County Probation and he must comply with the Sex Offender Registration Act and probation restrictions. He will be under supervision through 2026.
