Pelham Manor Police Chief Withdraws Retirement Application

PELHAM MANOR, N.Y. -- The former Pelham Manor Police chief who stepped down after sending racist emails recently withdrew his state application for retirement, according to LoHud.com.

Alfred Mosiello left the force on Feb. 13, taking two weeks vacation and filed his paperwork on March 5, meaning he was still on the village payroll through March 4, LoHud.com said. 

It is not yet clear what impact Mosiello's actions have on his employment status, LoHud.com reported.
